| Full Name: Theodore Robin M axwell III Age: 143 Skills: Hand to hand combat, pyrosis. Occupation: Protector of the Boneyard. Personality: Thrax, as described by many of the Boneyard, is a charming bastard. He does nothing cruel unnecessarily, but when he is given reason to retaliate, he does delight in teaching others a painful (sometimes fatal) lesson. In this new, broken world, it's often. Despite his charisma, no one has ever gotten close to him, and he's guarded about his pre-war past and doesn't have many intimate relationships. Those that have gotten into his good graces find that he is caring and a good person to have at their back. His enemies, if they aren't smart enough to escape, find out what it's like to burn alive. History: Little is known about Thrax before the war. His known history begins shortly after the end of the old world; he was part of an large group of survivors driven into the countryside by fallout and fires raging in the cities. They took refuge in a cemetery for some time, only rarely venturing outside the great mausoleum to hunt for food and water. Eventually, the radiation began to take effect: many died, others changed. They developed growths or their flesh began to rot, and some exhibited strange new abilities. Thrax's body was ravaged with fever and aches for weeks. His appearance changed entirely, as if burned in a terrible fire. He also discovered he could emit flames from his body, though he was unable to control the fires he created. In the years that followed, he and his fellow mutates tried to find other communities to join and hopefully survive in, but they were all turned away for their appearances and abilities. After a time, they resolved to simply remain in the cemetery and help one another. Thrax, as one of the more capable fighters, was appointed as a defender of the community. Babylon's founding became something of a concern, as the attention it drew could endanger his own small community, as it is somewhere near Babylon itself. Extra: Thrax likes books, especially on poetry and plays, and has many intact paintings hanging in his tomb. | |
